Re: Postponement/Cancellation of Big Rig Truck Show – 2020

As you have seen the COVID 19 pandemic has hit every industry hard this year, especially those involving large gatherings of people such as trade shows and events. Unfortunately, that also now applies the Big Rig Truck Show which had been planned for August 14, 15 & 16, 2020.

On June 1, 2020 notice was received from the Chippewa County Health Department restricting gatherings of more than 10 people indefinitely. They have informed me that this restriction does not have a timeframe for being removed or reviewed. Due to the months of preparations and marketing efforts this show requires, it is not prudent to proceed without a clear indication from the governmental agencies involved that the event can take place, and so we have been forced to postpone until 2021.

I do believe that large events, celebrations and festivals will be open again in the near future and I am planning in earnest for the Big Rig Truck Show – 2021, coming back to the Northern Wisconsin State Fairgrounds.

I thank you for your patience as I am doing everything I can to bring the show back to the Chippewa Valley.

It is my hope that you would keep your reservation with the Big Rig Truck show for the 2021 dates which will be August 20, 21, 22, 2021. If you are willing to stick with us, we will give you additional space for 2021 at no additional cost and entertainment tickets. If you instead prefer a refund, we will make those available to you within 15 days.
